STINGING NETTLE (Urtica dioica)

The stinging nettle has a rich and long history of use in food and in folk tradition. It has traditionally been valued as a herb for supporting vitality and well-being. It naturally contains a variety of plant substances such as flavonoids, phenolic acids, amino acids and carotenoids.

In our apiary we gathered the nettle in the pristine nature of the Kočevje meadows. Using a vacuum distiller we gently concentrated its substances and blended them with our organic honey. This is how the premium product ORGANIC Stinging Nettle with Honey was created – a natural support for well-being that carries the scent of the Kočevje meadows.

USE (recommended):

• Use of this product is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
• Adults and children over 12 years: 10 g or one teaspoon twice a day.

Ingredients:

• Honey 97.5 %
• Stinging nettle extract 2.5 %

Because of the ingredients of natural origin, minor variations in taste and appearance may occur. Store the product at room temperature up to 25 °C. Honey products undergo a natural crystallisation process, which means their state may change from liquid to solid; in this case the product retains all of its natural ingredients. We process the honey cold (below 40 °C), so do not heat the product above 40 °C. People who are sensitive to honey should consult a doctor before consumption.
