02 · COMPOSITION AND USE

What it contains and how to use it.

The preparation combines organic honey with pomegranate juice concentrate. The honey brings mellow sweetness, while pomegranate gives the blend its deep ruby colour and lively, refreshing tartness.

Composition: honey 89%; pomegranate juice concentrate 11%.

Store at room temperature up to 25 °C and do not heat above 40 °C. Natural variations in taste and appearance may occur, and honey naturally crystallises. Not suitable for children under one year. People sensitive to honey should seek medical advice before use.

  1. 01 · FRESH PRESSING

    Fresh-pressed pomegranate.

    Organic pomegranates are pressed into fresh juice with a deep ruby colour and a lively tart edge.

  2. 02 · THE VACUUM STILL

    Vacuum distillation below 32 °C.

    The fresh juice is concentrated in the rotary evaporator: under vacuum, the water evaporates below 32 °C. The concentrate keeps the colour, aroma and character of the fresh-pressed ingredient.

  3. 03 · INTO THE HONEY

    Blended with organic honey.

    The concentrate is gently folded into raw organic honey from the Kočevje forests. No heating and no preservatives. What stays in the jar is the character of the ingredient, captured in honey.
