  1. 01 · GATHERING

    Wild thyme from the Gorjanci hills.

    Fresh wild thyme is gathered on the Gorjanci meadows when the slopes smell of summer.

  2. 02 · MACERATION

    Extracting the botanical ingredients.

    The fresh plants are steeped in strong organic alcohol and left for several weeks to release their character. In the next step, the vacuum still removes all of the alcohol from the concentrate.

  3. 03 · THE VACUUM STILL

    Vacuum distillation below 32 °C.

    The macerate is concentrated in the rotary evaporator: under vacuum, the water and all of the alcohol evaporate below 32 °C. The concentrate keeps its colour and aroma, and the preparation is completely alcohol-free.

  4. 04 · INTO THE HONEY

    Blended with organic honey.

    The concentrate is gently folded into raw organic honey from the Kočevje forests. No heating and no preservatives. What stays in the jar is the character of the ingredient, captured in honey.

Food supplement produced in Slovenia. Fresh field wild thyme is harvested in the Gorjanci hills, concentrated and blended with honey.

Thymus serpyllum

The wild thyme used in this preparation is identified as Thymus serpyllum and is processed as a concentrated extract.
